Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological, and developmental and age specific differences in the patient population including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide for assessment and therapeutic management of patient/family needs. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Coordinate patient care and services
Assist with minor office procedures
Answer and return phone calls (triage) for symptom management
Assist in patient education
Call in prescriptions and manage refill requests
Call patients with lab and test results
Assist with drug and procedure authorizations
Coordinate home care and referral services
Complete disability and FMLA paperwork
Act as a liaison between clinic and outside resources
Salary Range: $36.00-$43.00

Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred. Minimum of five years nursing experience required. Previous outpatient office RN experience or Surgical RN experience preferred. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current CPR certification required.
Must maintain continuing education requirements.
