The role you’ll contribute:
The Licensed Nurse is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to our nursing home residents. Utilizes the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Admissions duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the admission process for Residents Admitted during your shift.
Responsible for supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to residents in the facility.
Utilized the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department.
Adheres to the State of Florida regulations of Long-Term Care facilities and the CMS federal regulations for long term care facilities.
Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibilities in maintaining relationships which are equally respectful to all.
Responsible to notify units if incoming admission to the facility.
Complete the admissions process for the incoming residents.
Delegate admission duties when multiple admissions enter facility.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
FL Registered Nurse License required
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
1-year long term experience preferred
Organizational and multi-tasking skills
Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
Ability to work as a Team player within a unit
Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills
