Adventist Health Castle (AHCS) seeks a full-time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join its cardiology services team. Incumbent will work with cardiologists and an electrophysiologist, to conduct patient initial assessments, diagnostic testing including stress tests, and routine follow-up care. Patient modalities include but are not limited to implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, pacemakers, and other irregular and chaotic heartbeat diseases. This is a unique opportunity to collaboratively develop a robust cardiology service line. Minimum Qualifications: Completion of an accredited graduate-level program that produced a master???s degree in clinical nursing or nursing science in relevant field of specialty. Current Hawaii Registered Nurse License. Current Hawaii Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License with prescriptive authority. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card required. Current American Heart Association Health Care Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) card. Two (2) years??? nurse practitioner experience or equivalent in cardiology in either an inpatient or outpatient setting preferred. Recent experience in Electrophysiology preferred. New graduates will be considered.
Candidates must be Hawaii medical licensed or eligible, and meet the hospital???s medical staff credentialing standards. Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday.
