Northern Light Acadia Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join our
Child and Adolescent Ambulatory team in Bangor, Maine!
This physician will work in conjunction with the Vice President of Medical Affairs, the Chief of Service, and the Unit Administrator to coordinate his/her working schedule to ensure the continuity of patient services.
Coordinate with the Access staff and Unit Administrator to admit patients, perform diagnostic evaluations, and monitor all medical related patient issues
Work with the Unit Administrator and clinical staff to develop and maintain the Unit's treatment philosophy
Provide night, weekend and holiday coverage as required
Must be generally familiar with hospital operations, policies and procedures, and clinical placement criteria
Position responsibilities will include direct patient care, teaching and clinical supervisory responsibilities
Inpatient and Hospital Rounding call opportunities for additional compensation in adult and pediatrics
Schedule: 5 days a week (7:00 am - 3:00 pm, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, or 10:00 am - 6:00 pm)
