Monday - Friday 11:30am - 8pm
You Will Be Responsible For:
Coordinate routine and STAT specimen pickups for FHL Outreach Clients and Florida Hospital Labs
Receive, document, and fill supply order requests for client delivery
Performs various clerical duties as assigned
Assists with new employee orientation for department
Provides resolution to customer service issues within guidelines, referring issues appropriately to administrative staff for follow-up
Adheres strictly to Florida Hospital Compliance Plan and the rules and regulation of applicable regulatory authorities; protects confidentiality of patient information and results at all times.
What You Will Need:
Valid Florida Class “E” Driver’s License and driving record in accordance with Florida Hospital policy
Six months experience in Clinical Laboratory or General Hospital Setting
High School Diploma or equivalent
The Laboratory Courier safely transports laboratory specimens, various equipment, laboratory supplies, patient reports and similar objects between hospitals, campus hospitals and outreach clients. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
