Fairview Health Services is looking for a Nursing Station Technician in the IntensiveCare Unit at Fairview Ridges Hospital located in Burnsville MN, working under the direction of Nursing Personnel on a 12 bed unit.
About this position:
This position is working 8 hour shifts on the evening shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.)
Every other weekend
48 hours in two weeks, with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts.
Work under direction of nursing personnel to provide patient care while functioning as a nursing assistant and as a health unit coordinator. Duties may include: patient cares, vitals, bathing, feeding, answering call lights, transporting, care of environment (by stocking, cleaning, and maintaining rooms) and use of equipment, phones, clerical, transcription, and coordinate the flow of communication on the unit. May work as a patient care attendant.

Current certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry upon hire. This requirement does not need to be maintained throughout employment and is not required if subsequently transferring into another Nursing Assistant or Nursing Station Tech or Nursing Station Attendant position (exception: M Health Fairview West Bank Nursing Assistants) or Current enrollment in an RN program, and completion of one (1) semester of clinical rotation within the program
