The Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Intern will work directly with Site Directors to gain a comprehensive experience clinically and operationally. He/she will work the Directors at Monmouth Medical Center, Community Medical Center, RWJUH New Brunswick, and RWJUH Somerset facilities focusing on supporting the D&I initiatives (i.e. working with IT to revamp REAL data collection at the point of entry. He/she will also work with the team to ensure appropriate alignment of the department overall strategies, support the creation of our Diversity reports, and the application process to the Healthcare Equality Index for 2020. In addition, the Intern will support research around national best practices, training methodologies, and overall diversity initiatives such as the creation of a dashboard of our D&I centers of excellence at RWJBH.
